In BPO Call Center Companies across the globe, they provide different services to other companies to handle their business services like assisting the customer inquiries, promoting their services or selling their products and setting up an appointment with the customers via telephone. Moreover, Call Center Companies have different types of services such as an Inbound Telemarketing and an Outbound Telemarketing. Inbound and Outbound Telemarketing has different important responsibilities in order to have an effective outsourcing campaign. So, let’s differentiate the duties of each position.


Inbound Telemarketing

      Inbound Telemarketing is different from Customer Service. Most people think that inbound Telemarketing job is similar to Customer service but the telemarketers also do Sales process. Typically, Customer service representative is the one who assist customer inquiries and answer questions of their existing customer. While, Telemarketer representative will also answer basic related questions of their customers and setting up an appointment with the prospect.


Outbound Telemarketing

Outbound Telemarketing engages cold calling prospects who are not anticipating a call. First, before launching an outbound telemarketing campaign, you should identify your market. Then, once you have already determined who your qualified customers are, put them together in a list for your Telemarketer will do the call. However, But there are many companies who can provide a list of prospect contacts or leads base upon your parameters.
